Strawberry + Coconut Oil Dog Treat Recipe
Everyone loves a super easy dog treat recipe to make. Every pug loves a tasty homemade treat. And everyone loves if we can combine and easy treat with one their pug loves but has the added bonus of being healthy. Well that is where this Strawberry + Coconut Oil Dog Treat Recipe comes into the picture.
Coconut oil has many benefits for your pug from helping with bad breath to helping with your pug’s coat. Strawberries are a fantastic fruit to give to your pug as they are not only naturally low in sugar, they are full of antioxidants, fibre and Vitamin C. So when you combine coconut oil and strawberries, you get a super tasty treat your pug will love that is healthy too.

INGREDIENTS
- Some fun silicone moulds
- 1/2 Cup Coconut oil
- 6-8 Strawberries, fresh or frozen
DIRECTIONS
- Liquify coconut oil in its jar by placing it in hot water
- Puree strawberries using a blender or NutriBullet
- Using a squeeze bottle, or spoon if preferred, pour pureed strawberries evenly into silicone moulds to any desired level leaving at least half the mould for coconut oil
- Using another squeeze bottle, or spoon if preferred, pour coconut oil over strawberry puree until each mould if full
- Place in freezer until set
- Store in fridge for up to 2 weeks or freezer for long term storage
