It is that time again where you get to know a pug from the social media scene in our popular Social Pug Profile series. This week it is the awesome Vinny Pugalicious. Get to know Vinny in his interview.
Name: Vinny, Vin, Vincenzo, Vin Vin
Age: 1 year 8 months
Birth date or Gotcha Date: November 9
Where do you live? Fort Worth, Texas
What is your favourite time of the day?
Morning when my humans first wake up because I know I’m about to get my brekkie and I get super excited about it!
What is your favourite food?
Peanut butter and bacon.
What do you hate the most?
The thing I hate the most would have to be eyedrops. I have become better at getting them because I know I get a treat after but I still put up a bit of a fight!
What do you love the most?
Humans! Ma says I have never met a stranger. I just really love people and get super happy around them. And a close second would have to be food.
Do you have any bad habits?
I have a weird OCD habit of licking the air. I tend to do it when I get stressed out and it can go on for ten minutes or longer.
What do you think is your best quality? My eyes
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me is I wake up bright and early at 7 am. I usually bug my pops because he wakes up sooner than my ma. My pa let’s me out to do my business and then feeds me my brekkie. I’ll typically run back into the bedroom and lay with my ma until she wakes up. She drinks her coffee and I lay on her lap. Afterwards, depending on what my humans are doing that day, I’ll play with my toys, take a long nap, or tag along with them to whatever errands they need to run. In the afternoon, I’ll usually go outside and play fetch with my older lab sister. I know exactly when din din is and I’ll make sure my humans know not to forget. Around 9 pm, I usually start winding down and am ready for bed. I’ll cuddle up on my ma and fall asleep in the bed with my humans.
What is it like being a foster brother?
It’s awesome! I feel so lucky to be able to spend time with a new foster brother or sister every few weeks. It’s helped me learn how to share toys and treats and have a playmate my size! I feel very fortunate to be able to do something like this.
What is the most exciting thing you have done in your life so far?
I would have to say participating in DFW Pug Rescues Pugapalooza was one of the most exciting things so far. There were so many humans and pugs and I was just very happy that day!
