Where do you live?
My mommy (Jeannette) my cat sister (Saartje) and I live in Oud-Beijerland, a little town near Rotterdam in the Netherlands. I live nearby a big river, with a nature reserve area where there are cows, horses and sheep there. Mom and me walk there everyday. I meet my neighborhood friends there too. We do zoomies and play hide & seek. Its lots of fun and of course all the dog parents have treats on them.

What is your favourite time of the day?
Walking there and playtime with mom are my favorite times of the day, but actually I love every minute there is in a day, espescially when there is food involved.

What is your favourite food?
My all-time favourite food is banana!! I even let go off my own breakfast when mom makes herself a smoothie with banana in it. I get a piece of banana every morning and sometimes a banana with pinabutter, have you ever tried it?? Its really pawsome!!

Do you have a toy that you can’t live without?
When I came to my forever home I ‘stole’ mommy’s favourite stuffed animal, no one was allowed to touch it or play with it, until I claimed it…haha! I drag it down the house and Im not sleeping without him, so when I go on a sleepover he is always with me.

What do you hate the most?
The thing I hate the most is being in traffic jam. When the car is driving slow, I immediately start barking and squeal like a little baby. I love it when I’m in da car with mom driving fast, I have a throne in da car, its really high so I can see everything and what’s going on outside.

What do you love the most?
What I love the most…I love many things;
I love Raja, my boyfriend, who lives all the way in Switzerland. I love Hera, my Best Pug Friend Forever and of course I love my mommy. But my favourite thing to do, what I really love the most is hang out with my bestie Hera. And all the other friends off the Dutch Pug Society. At least one time a week I’m going to the doggy playground. Most of the time other pugs of my squad are there. We chase each other, do zoomies, go through the tunnel. Most of the time I’m the only one who goes in the pool, the others aren’t just that reckless as me 😉 My mom and my stepdad (Hera’s dad) are the chairmen of the community, they organize a pug walk every other month. I love them for that! Therefore I can see my friends lots of times!!

Do you have any bad habits?
Bad Habbits; Me…?? No, well my mom doesn’t agree with no, hahaha. I chase my cat sister through the whole house, it drives my mom crazy, in the end I always lose..because I can’t jump as high as she can…no fair I guess.

What do you think is your best quality?
My best quality is that I never give up, on anything…. At this moment mom and me are training to jump as high as possible, its fun so far, but I also learnt how to swim and I run with mom. My health is very good so I can walk for hours, you can say I’m sportive.

What does a typical day look like for you?
Not one of my days are the same, because mom is a nurse she has different working shifts.
I hate it when she has an early shift, the alarm goes off at 5:30…way too early.
So lets pick a day when she is free from work. My mom most of the times is up about 8.00, because she is training in the gym or running in the morning. So when we get out of bed, we directly go for a walk, mostly for 30 minutes. When we get back to the house, I have my first breakfast. After that I finish my moms breakfast, I call that my second breakfast…haha
My mom goes out training and I take a nap. When she gets home we drink coffee, I love a good pugochino. When she hits the shower I patiently wait for her to finish right before the shower cabin. After that we play, do stuff around the house and we go out. Depend on which day it is, we go out by car to doggy playground, forest or beach. Or we just go out for a long walk in the nature reserve in the neighborhood and do shopping on our way back home. If I’m lucky we go to my favourite restaurant where I get a biscuit every time I go there.
Back home mom and me play for a bit and I take a little nap before she starts making diner. Before or after dinner we do a toilet round by the canal next to our home. After dinner I play with Guus. Every day it’s the same game, I drag him down the house and after that we cuddle (honestly I hump him…not very ladylike I know…)
I really have to admit that by 20.00 I snuggle up with mom, we watch Netflix, drink tea and wine and at 22.00 we do walkies for the last time for that day.
When mom tells me it is bedtime, I run upstairs and make sure my place in the big bed is safe!

What is your most favourite pug adventure you have been on so far?
My favourite pug adventure?? Well that is absolutly my vacation with Hera and her dads in Belgium. We went to a farmhouse with two other dogs, two cats and two horses!! It was pawsome! Everyday we went for an adventure, walkies in the forest, love the mud puddles there haha. Going for bike trips, had my first swing adventure there, don’t know if I liked it though …. we stayed up ’til late every night, we had BBQ parties. The coolest thing there was a swimming pool. At first I had to swim with a life vest… I hated it, so mom took it off and I learned how to swim without it!! But the most important thing of all was that not only my BPFF was there with me the whole time but also my stepdads and mommy!!

What do you love most about having a pug BFF?
The coolest thing about having a BPFF is that we share everything, well….Hera still find it hard to share her treats with me, she has ninja skills….she sneaks up on me and steels her treat from me…..but its ok I love her for it…We see each other every week. When we don’t we miss each other like crazy and mom arrange a FaceTime call with her so we can see each other. When we have a sleepover we do pjs party! It’s so much fun! We take a shower and walk around in our pjs all night!! Hera is my best friend and when she is not at the doggy playground I’m lost for a second…People love us when we are together, we get lots and lots of attention from everyone…and treats 🙂
