It is that time again where you get to know a pug from the social media scene in our popular Social Pug Profile series. This week it is the wonderful and adorable Flossie. Get to know Flossie in her interview.
Flossie Teacake Spencer-Townesen but my pedigree name is Lomali First Arrival. The humans just call me Flossie.
I am 4 years old!
Birth date or Gotcha Date:
My birthday is 1st October 2012. I met my humans at 3 weeks old, where they visited me each week before I was able to come home at 8 weeks old.
Where do you live?
I live in the U.K., in Bedfordshire which is about 40 miles from London. I was born in Cambridgeshire.
What is your favourite time of the day?
I loves the mornings, though I am sleepy, i’ll wake up & snuggle up to mummy under her arm, tucked into the crock of her arm. I’ll snuggles in, sigh a deep sigh & I’m happy. I also likes the afternoon when the sun streams through the kitchen doors & I can bask in it.
What is your favourite food?
I loves cheese! I am only allowed a very small piece once in a while, but when ever you say “cheese” I’m alert!
Do you have a toy that you can’t live without?
I have a few favourite toys, soft toys are best & I suckle all me new soft toys. They go crunchy & mummy hates when she picks one up & it’s all soggy!
What do you hate the most?
I hate having my nails trimmed. I go mad! Like a different pug!
What do you love the most?
I love doing anything with my hoomans. They always take me to places & include me in every aspect of their lives.
Do you have any bad habits?
My bad habit……not allowing mummy to clean my nose wrinkle, but instead, rubbing it all over the sofas & cushions!
What do you think is your best quality?
My best quality is my calmness & though I am a Diva, I have a relaxed approach to life.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My days vary depending on my hoomans. So sometimes mummy works at home & I’ll sleep next to her, I try to get on her lap, but she says she can’t type with me there! If I go to work with Daddy I’ll oversee the build he is working on. I have to be more active with daddy, sometimes on the digger or scaffold. I have to keep all the work men in line & share their lunches!! The weekends are amazing – that’s when I get to see my besties – Milo, Sophia, Ellie, Darcie, Peggy & Hugo. I also love all their hoomans. Those are the best days!
What is your favourite adventure you have been on?
I have been on many adventures, from exploring Cornwall with my hoomans, to walking around a lake in Yorkshire, to shopping in Liberty in London & riding the tube! The best adventure was being mummy’s bridesmaid when they got married last year – I was there for the whole process. I was so proud.
What do you love most about having a sister?
My new little sister Peggy came into our lives on 22nd Dec 16. It was a quick decision, mummy found out she needed a new home on 20th Dec. So within 3 days she was home. Though I was reluctant to start with, we are fast becoming very close & I have let her share some of my limelight!
