It is that time again where you get to know a pug from the social media scene in our popular Social Pug Profile series. This week it is the gorgeous Nanna, sister of Tofu. Get to know Nanna in her interview.
Name: Nanna (Officially it’s Dallas/Dally but the humans think I act like a sweet old lady so they call me Nanna now)
Age: 8 years young!
Birth date or Gotcha Date: 23rd of March is the date my previous family got me after being rescued so my furever family kept this date as my Birthday. I was born in 2009.
Where do you live? Perth, Western Australia.
What is your favourite time of the day?
When Mum first gets home from work and opens the back door to let us outside. Rain, hail or shine, I am out there!
What is your favourite food?
Peanut paste, cheese and blueberries. Mmmmmm!
Do you have a toy that you can’t live without?
I don’t have a favourite soft toy, but I have a favourite chew toy. Its a hard red bone and you can often hear me gnawing on it.
What do you hate the most?
Having my toe nails clipped!!!
What do you love the most?
Food!! I’m always sniffing around for treats and things to eat.
Do you have any bad habits?
I don’t think so. But the humans would probably say that it’s my desire too dig up and eat cat poop.
What do you think is your best quality?
I am sweet and snuggly. But I’m also tough and independent.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My brother Tofu and I wake up very early so Hu-Mum can feed us before she goes to work. Then we snuggle on the couch and watch her eat her breakfast before she leaves. When she gets home she let’s us outside and we peep and poop and I also go hunting for things I shouldn’t eat (like cat poop). If Mum has to go back to work in the afternoon Tofu and I usually snuggle until Mum get’s back to feed us again. Then it’s bed time. So mostly just eating and sleeping sums up my day.
What do you love most about having found your forever home?
My little brother Tofu. Also my parents who spoil me and let me sleep on the big bed with them even though Tofu and I have our own bedroom.
What do you love most about having a brother?
He has taught me patience and I have taught him to be a good boy and to behave less like a spoilt only child :p We do everything together and even though he can be a pest, I love him! I can sometimes be a bit bossy. So having a little brother gives me someone to boss around. He is also really awesome to snuggle and keep warm with… But don’t tell him I said that.
What is your favourite adventure you have been on so far?
Beach adventures for sure! I love to wander up and down the beach meeting all the humans and I also looove to go in the water.
