Our dogs never live long enough. So what better way to always keep them with us then a fun little DIY project to do with your pug. Every paw print is unique to each dog so why not make a lasting piece of art from your pug’s paw print with this easy DIY Framed Paw Print Art.
Here is what you’ll need:
- A frame
- A piece of paper
- Black water based paint
- Black Sharpie
- Your pug
Now for the fun and easy part. Cut your piece of paper to fit your frame. You can use any coloured piece of paper you like. I went with a blue toned piece to match decor in my home. Once the paper is the right size, choose which orientation you want to hang your DIY framed paw print art between portrait or landscape.
Now you just need to add your pug’s name at either the top or the bottom of the paper.
Now to add the final touch. Carefully place your pug’s paw in some paint. Be sure to dab off excess paint to give a clearer paw print. Now place your pug’s paw onto the paper. Wash your pug’s paw immediately and then wait for the paint to fully dry. Pop it into the frame and find somewhere to display it in your home.
Such an easy and fun project do to keep your pug’s paw print around the home for many many years to come.
Are you going to your own DIY framed paw print art of your pug’s paw to proudly display at home or even work? When you have done your DIY framed paw print art, share it on our Facebook wall or tag it using #thepugdiary on Instagram so we can see it.
