I’ve been wanting to create a supportive group for like minded people who feed their pugs raw food. A place where pug parents can ask questions about raw feeding pugs. A place where pug parents can feel safe without judgement for choosing the natural way to feed their pugs.
I know that it’s not that common for pugs to be fed a healthy natural species appropriate diet in raw food. I’ve been judged for doing just that with my pugs. But I know first hand that raw feeding pugs has incredible benefits to their health and keeping them at the weight pugs should be, not fat.
I often share photos of what I feed my pugs and my meal preps over on my Raw Fed Pugs Instagram and Facebook page. But now it’s time to extend that support. If you are a pug parent who feeds their pugs a raw diet, regardless of whether you feed PMR, PMR+, Barf or NRC, I have a supportive Facebook group for you to join.
I know that feeding raw to pugs and other brachycephalic breeds is not as simple as it is compared to a lot of other dogs especially when it comes to feeding bones. I’ll be sharing some tips specifically targeted to pugs and other brachycephalic breeds to help you in your journey.
I would love to see you over at my Raw Fed Pugs Facebook Group sharing what your pug eats and joining in on the posts I’ll be sharing. I’m also excited that qualified canine nutritionist Megan Burgess of Raw Fed and Furry is my co-admin as Megan brings incredible knowledge to the group of nutrition.
Join the Raw Fed Pugs Facebook Group! And be sure to answer the questions to be accepted into the group. See you over on Facebook!
