Just last week I was watching a movie that had pugs starring in it and it totally inspired this post. I wanted to share with you 7 movies you should watch that have pugs in them. Seriously, who can’t pass up a movie with a pug in it. So if you are looking for something to watch over the weekend whilst snuggled up to your pug, be sure to check out one or two or even all of these movies.

1. Men In Black

2.  The Adventures of Milo & Otis

3. Men In Black II

4. The Nut Job

5. Pocahontas

6. Kingsman: The Secret Service

And not to miss when it hits the screens in July 2016
7. The Secret Life of Pets

Do you have a favourite movie with a pug in it? Tell me in the comments your must see movies starring pugs.

Hotel for Dogs also has pugs in it and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. I really loved The Nut Job! I think the pug looks exactly like our lil Zira. There’s also a very brief cameo by a pug on a hoverboard in Hot Tub Time Machine 2. These are all great selections!

Thanks for stopping by Spike & Zira! Glad you like the list. My original list included Hotel for Dogs as well as a good dozen more. Quite a number of movies featuring pugs.

Dune has a pug in it, belonging to House Atreides. Patrick Stewart even carries it into battle! (Yes, the pug survives and is in the final scene).

There are a pair of pugs briefly seen in Laketown in the second Hobbit film (pretty much the only good bit of that film!)
