It is that time again where you get to know a pug from the social media scene in our popular Social Pug Profile series. This week it is the super photogenic You Don’t Know Stitch. Get to know Stitch in his interview.
Birth date or Gotcha Date: My birthdate is February 28th, and my Gotcha Day is May 20th, 2014. (My foster mom, now mom, thought it would be a temporary situation. We all knew she was fooling herself. I wasn’t going anywhere.)
Where do you live? Charlotte, North Carolina
What is your favourite time of the day?
Breakfast, wait, no dinner time. Wait, no breakfast time. Wait, DINNER time. I can’t decide!
What is your favourite food?
If I have to pick just one, I would say bananas. (If I don’t have to pick, I would say anything with a vowel in it)
Do you have a toy that you can’t live without?
My stuffed monkey. i HATE when my Great Dane sisters try and steal it from me.
What do you hate the most?
I hate people messing with my feet.
What do you love the most?
Food, my mom, food, my fur siblings, food….ok, I pick food.
Do you have any bad habits?
Yes. Instead of simply barking, I enjoy SCREAMING when anything exciting happens. Knocks on the door, seeing a squirrel, waiting on my food… I hear it is QUITE annoying.
What do you think is your best quality?
My best quality is my ability to look cute and pose for photos.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I wake up with the best attitude of any dog in the house, I go outside, i eat breakfast, then I play with my fur siblings or follow my mom and dad around hoping to get more food or a taste of the cream for their coffee…I then get to help my mom or skin sister take care of the bunnies ( I get oats like they do when they are done), and then I get to go on a pack walk. After that, I sleep for most of the day, on and off, until dinner time or something else exciting happens. At the end of the day I get to snuggle on the couch with my mom and snore.
What is your favourite adventure you have been on so far?
My favorite adventure has to be the time I went to the beach. I could not get enough running around on that sand!
What is it like having a human as a photographer?
Well my mom (who is a professional photographer) agreed to foster me when I was a baby because she was so excited about all of the photos she could get of me while I was with her. I quickly learned that I got treats for doing different poses, and now I am a pro at it. Some of the stuff she comes up with is kinda crazy, but I will do just about anything for a treat. I LOVE having my photo taken! I even pose for students in her photography class!
What do you love most about having an Instagram account?
I feel like I have so many new friends now, and I love seeing photos of them. Some of them have to do WAY more poses than I do, and I hope my mom doesn’t get any ideas from them. Hehehehe.
Where can we follow your daily adventures?
You can follow me on Instagram @youdontknowstitch or on Facebook “You Don’t Know Stitch”.
I hope you have enjoyed getting to know Stitch in this Social Pug Profile interview and be sure to leave a pug love note for him in the comments below.
