It is that time again where you get to know a pug from the social media scene in our popular Social Pug Profile series. This week it is the adorable Milo, brother of Otis. Get to know Milo in his interview.
Name: Milo Walsh
Age: 10 months
Birth date: I was born on June 3, 2016 in Buffalo, NY.
Where do you live? I live in Southampton, NY but spend a lot of time living the hotel puglife in NYC.
What is your favourite time of the day?
Of course that would be meal times! Unlike Otis, you can’t put any kind of food or treats in front of me if you don’t expect me to inhale it on the spot. I’m typically a Hangry pug if you don’t feed me when it’s my scheduled meal time.
What is your favourite food?
There are few things I wouldn’t eat, let’s put it that way but my real passion is to circle around like a shark and steal my cat bros’ meals. They get tasty wet food while I have to eat boring dry diet kibble.
Do you have a toy that you can’t live without?
Unlike Otis who really only loves his Chewbacca toy, I adore all my toys and the more plush, the better.
What do you hate the most?
When we have to stand and wait for our meal to be prepared. I am incredibly impatient and will whine until that bowl is full. Whenever it’s empty, I walk around with it in my mouth to try and score seconds. There’s nothing worse than an empty bowl!
What do you love the most?
I love eating snow! Don’t worry, I don’t eat the yellow snow cones after learning the hard way to avoid that.
Do you have any bad habits?
I love to chew on my cat bro, Jester’s ear. He really does enjoy the attention if you can believe it. I also have a bad habit of raiding the cat litter box for some cat poo treats. Needless to say, nobody wants to kiss me afterwards, even Otis, but I suppose I wouldn’t blame them.
What do you think is your best quality?
My persuasiveness. I can convince you to hand over that last piece of bacon on your plate just by giving you my signature begging stare-down.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I’m a pug consultant, which means I’m mostly unemployed but that’s ok because I’ve been called lazy and entitled but I like to think I choose my work wisely. I usually start my day getting up late like Otis and we patrol the outside perimeter for intruders of the squirrel type. We also can’t miss harassing the postman and any deliveries scheduled that day as we are the official welcoming committee, if that’s what you call barking your heads off, jumping, and slobbering all over everyone that comes to our door.
What is the best thing about having a brother?
Otis has helped me become a more independent and free spirit since my early puglet days, by eliminating the separation anxiety I could have experienced when we’re left alone in hotels for a few hours when we travel. He also has my back whenever I get too rough with the cats and they paw at me, as he gets super protective. Overall, he is the best big bro anyone can ever ask for as we are two pug peas in a pod.
What do you love most about having an Instagram account?
I must admit, I am an attention hog and have pretty much taken over Otis’ Instagram account. But he doesn’t mind sharing all the new friends we make every day who we love and hope to keep entertaining with our silly little antics. I also love being able to wear my costumes and feel like royalty on occasion.
So far, what has been your greatest adventure you’ve been on?
We spent a lot of winter weekends up in Stowe, Vermont and have become real après ski bums at the lodge. We look forward to continuing our super fun adventures with our upcoming Nashville trip for our friends’ Bodie & Spanky’s Pug Birthday Bash as well as our big road trip in May for #PugsTakeChicago.
Where can we follow your daily adventures?
You can see my daily adventures on Instagram at @otisthepugwalsh as well as on Twitter where I am a regular on #Pugchat every Wednesday nights at 7 pm EST.We even dress up for it sometimes.
